Purchasing Solutions Alliance Cooperative Contract

Mission Critical Partners (MCP) has entered into a cooperative contract with Purchasing Solutions Alliance, a program of the Brazos Valley Council of Governments (BVCOG), for participating government agencies to purchase network monitoring services.

This contract allows Mission Critical Partners to provide services to PSA’s members – cities, towns, and other local governments – that choose to use this contract. This contract aims to deliver proactive managed monitoring services for Next Generation 911 (NG911) networks. With this contract, MXP can play a critical role in ensuring the operational reliability and security of NG911 network infrastructure.

Network Monitoring Services Offered for NG911

• Network management and fault management
  • 24/7/365 proactive monitoring of NG911 Layer 3 networks, including:
    • 4G/5G LTE wireless networks
    • Microwave point-to-point links
    • Internet connections
    • Rapid incident detection, reporting, and resolution to minimize network outages
  • Router and Switch Management
    • Change management for NG911 network routers and switches
    • Configuration, backup, and restoration of network devices
    • Logical and physical fault resolution to ensure system stability and operational readiness
  • Remote configuration support, including:
    • VPN user configuration
    • Firewall rule adjustments
    • Backup and maintenance of configuration databases
