Safeguarding Tennessee 911 Centers from Cyberrisk
To help safeguard public safety answering points (PSAPs) in the State of Tennessee, the Tennessee Emergency Communications Board (TECB) has agreed to provide one PSAP in each district with a cybersecurity assessment using federal grant dollars. TECB’s partner, Mission Critical Partners, will complete this work on behalf of the PSAPs.
During this webinar, Mission Critical Partners will share details about the project and provide information about how to complete an assessment for your PSAP. The scope of the assessment is specific to the PSAP IT environment and is focused primarily on the networks that support the CAD and call processing applications.
The project will include:
• PSAP interviews
• Network vulnerability scans
• Physical inspections of computer rooms
• Review of documentation, policies, and procedures
